After confirming your registration by e-mail, you will receive additional support raising information by e-mail including a sample support letter and a support card. At that point, you may begin fundraising. Donations for trip expenses can be sent to Adventures In Missions offices at: P.O. Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. Checks should be made payable to Adventures In Missions. You may write "Appealed by NAME" with your name in the memo section. We suggest that you send out a support letter.

You may write your own letter or adapt the sample letter. You should include the Support Card with your letter. You must include the following paragraph in your support letter.

Adventures in Missions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Donors will receive receipts for their gifts with the understanding that the disbursement of those gifts lies completely at the discretion of Adventures in Missions and that the gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable, per IRS regulations. Gifts may be tax deductible; please consult your tax advisor.

If you raise additional funds, you may request reimbursement for the cost of your plane ticket(s), insurance, and any vaccinations up to the amount that you raised which exceeds the trip cost. You must submit copies of receipts in order to be reimbursed.

We highly recommend that you purchase international insurance to cover any medical emergencies. This insurance can be purchased online and is very inexpensive.
