The purpose of a Vision Trip is for people to catch the vision of what God is doing through Adventures In Missions in a particular location and then to champion that cause by spreading the word about our ministry. You may find that a Vision Trip brings into focus your role in the work!

This year we are offering a Vision Trip to Swaziland!

The trip scheduled for this year is October 2, 2010 through October 11, 2010. The cost for this trip is $1,200.00 plus airfare. This Vision Trip is classified as a Three Star trip, this means that lodging is more comfortable than the trip in August and the meals are more like restaurant style meals. Also, for an additional $200.00 and a later return date to the states of October 13, 2010 there is an optional day trip available to Kruger National Park. For more information on this optional adventure, check out their link here. If you are interested in this Vision Trip please email DonorRelations@adventures.org

You will have the freedom to make your own travel arrangements and many people choose to do additional sightseeing in the region before or after the trip. Travel costs will be in addition to the cost of the trip. For information regarding vaccinations and entry/exit requirements, visit the CDC website.

These trips are ideal for pastors and lay leaders who want to inspire their congregations to get involved in missions and investing in Kingdom work.

For more information or to sign up for an upcoming trip, e-mail us and we will provide you with more details.

Here is a quote from a participant: "Four years ago our daughter was heading out for her first short-term mission trip to Uganda, Africa. I did the math and asked if the people there would not be better served by the team sending the tens of thousands of dollars that the trip was costing rather than sending an assortment of Americans.

"The answer was yes, but will people send the money? Will they care if they don't know? Will they know if they don't go?

"Since that trip, almost every member of the team has felt led to give financially and many have returned personally. Some have sent children to school; others have sent money to build schools.

"An entire congregation was moved to campaign for mosquito nets, and that, in turn, incited a local business to send nets as well.Real relationships of the heart have formed with brothers and sisters separated by cultures and oceans and currencies, but bound together by a mighty God who adopted us all.

"My daughter's first trip to Africa has led to two more. This last time she brought one of her brothers and me.And now I have the tiny nation of Swaziland burned lovingly in my heart and in my consciousness, no longer a hazy image of a dark foreign land.

"There is value to short-term missions that go deeper and wider than the eye can easily perceive."
